About Dairying Regions

In the 1990s, Dairy Australia established eight Regional Development Programs (RDPs) in our the major dairying areas to drive locally relevant innovation in research and extension.

Now mature and independent entities, the eight RDPs are co-ordinated and managed by the regions to improve local and national productivity, prosperity and sustainability. Funded by Dairy Australia, the RDPs also secure other state, federal and community support.
