Managing Effluent
Dairy effluent is often described as a ‘waste’ and if mismanaged risks impacting catchment health. Managed effectively it can be an important source of nutrients, wash down water and potentially energy. Dairy Australia in partnership with state agencies, regional NRM bodies and research organisations invests in research into better utilise and manage dairy effluent.
